GRANT CRITERIA

 
 

Innovation

Innovative approaches influence or advance new ideas that have yet-to-be tested in teaching and learning in the Hamilton-Wenham District. For example, there are opportunities for teachers and students to experience new ideas, curriculum, technology, special interdisciplinary projects, hands-on opportunities, enrichment or experiential approaches that would otherwise not be available without this effort.

 
 
 

Leadership

Leadership is demonstrated by the applicant's ability to go above and beyond their assigned duties to bring new and innovative learning or teaching opportunities to students. It can also be demonstrated by unique solutions to problems, creative budgeting, insight into national trends, articulate identification and communication of gaps missed by the district. Lastly, leadership can be demonstrated by the ability to unify non-traditional partners and offering agency to students through inclusivity to process and execution.

 

Creativity

Creativity is demonstrated by offering up solutions that are outside of the box, that unleash and empower the potential of students to conceive new ideas, approaches, inspire learning and engage students in new ways.

 

Number of Students

Number of students that will benefit from the grant.

 

Collaboration

Collaboration is demonstrated by the applicant's ability to clearly show how well they include administrators, parents, students and other stakeholders in the program design.

 

Benefits

The program/project will provide long-standing benefits to the student body.

Well thought out budget (capital investment, curriculum)
